The promulgation of Employees' State Insurance Act,
1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major
legislation on social Security for workers in independent
India. It was a time when the industry was still in a nascent
stage and the country was heavily dependent on an
assortment of imported goods from the developed or fast
developing countries. The deployment of manpower in
manufacturing processes was limited to a few select
industries such as jute, textile, chemicals etc. The
legislation on creation and development of a fool proof
multi-dimensional Social Security system, when the
country's economy was in a very fledgling state was
obviously a remarkable gesture towards the socio economic
amelioration of a workface though limited in number and
geographic distribution. India, notwithstanding, thus, took
the lead in providing organized social protection to the
working class through statutory provisions.
Job Details:
Name of the Post : Part-time Specialist:
1. No of Post : 07
2. Qualification : For a period of one year on contract basis or
till regular Specialist joins whichever is earlier. PG Degree
or equivalent, with 3 years experience in respective
specialty. PG Diploma, with 5 years experience in
respective speciality
3. Duties: To work for 2 sessions of 2 hours each a day for 5
days a week.(Time : 9 am to 1 pm)
4. Remuneration: Rs.40,000 /- (Rupees forty thousand only)
per month (Consolidated).
5. Age: Not exceeding 64 years as on 05.11.2014
Name of the Post : Senior Resident-1:
1. No of Post : 08
2. Qualification : For a period of one year on contract basis or
till regular GDMO joins whichever is earlier. PG Degree or
PG Diploma. Candidates with 2 years experience after
MBBS out of which one year in the concerned speciality in
Govt./Reputed hospitals will be considered if PG candidates
are not available. For Dental SR, BDS with 3 years
experience in Govt./reputed hospitals
3. For PG Degree holders- Basic Pay Rs.18,750+Rs.6,600
(G.P.) and other allowances as per rules. Total emoluments
Rs.69,500/- (Approx.) For PG Diploma holders- Basic Pay
Rs.18,150+Rs.6,600 (G.P.) and other allowances as per
rules. Total emoluments Rs.68,000/- (Approx.) For MBBS
with experience- Basic Pay Rs.15,600+Rs.5,400 (G.P.) and
other allowances as per rules. Total emoluments
Rs.58,000/- (Approx.)
4. Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 05.11.2014. Relaxation
for reserved categories as per rules.
5. Reservation: As per rules

1. No of Post : 05
2. Qualification : : For a period of three years on contract
basis. PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned
speciality.
3. Remuneration: For PG Degree holders- Basic Pay
Rs.18,750+Rs.6,600 (G.P.) and other allowances as per
rules. Total emoluments Rs.69,500/- (Approx.) For PG
Diploma holders- Basic Pay Rs.18,150+Rs.6,600 (G.P.) and
other allowances as per rules. Total emoluments
Rs.68,000/- (Approx.)

Name of the Post : Ayurveda Physician:
1. No of Post : 01
2. Qualification : Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
with 3 years experience in Govt./reputed hospitals.
3. Duties: To work for 5 hours a day (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.); Six
days a week.
4. Remuneration: Rs.15,000/-per month. (Rupees fifteen
thousand only) (Consolidated)
5. Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 05.11.2014. Relaxation
for reserved categories as per rules.
